About Tundra

Tundra came into the rescue at 8 weeks old with his brothers. The first week was a bit stressful for them as they explored their new larger setups (something they never had before) and were separated from his brothers due to hormonal squabbles. 

Tundra loves to explore new things, his favourite time being free roam. He loves to chew things he’s not meant to -phone cables, sofa, bedding is no match for tundra – much to his foster mums concern. He’s always been quite a foodie, so a regular watch to make sure he’s eating a balanced diet is a must.

Tundra will need a barless enclosure minimum of 100 x 50 cm with deep burrows of bedding!

Hamsters are one of the most misunderstood creatures in the ‘pet world’. The amount of hamsters of all breeds who come into the rescue with inadequate care is staggering – and it often takes them several months to grow confident with their foster carers.

Hamster adoption fee made payable to the rescue

£20 per hamster

Adoption contract

You will need to sign our adoption contract

For hamsters, we will provide a full history.

Bonding service

The rescue runs a bonding service which is mandatory to ensure that the adopted animals will be bonded into a group or existing animal, to mitigate any chance of an animal living alone.
