Russell was rescued alongside Sakura and Vanilly from a house being seized by bailiffs.

Whilst the ladies have coped remarkably well given their lack of hay, appropriate accommodation, vet care and breeding… Russell hasn’t fared so well.

We booked Russell in for a CT scan to understand just how bad his teeth were and the answer was what we were dreading.

Russell is palliative with very limited positive prospects; rotten teeth, missing teeth, damaged nerves and compromised tooth roots. Whilst our fantastic vets did what they could for him, they we will keep him as happy and stable for as long as we can and so Russell will remain with us permanently.
