Prius is a young male Syrian hamster who came into the rescue with his mum and several siblings when he was a few days old. He’s a confident little boy who loves to run and explore. He enjoys coming out of his enclosure and is happy to be handled, although preferred to transfer out of his enclosure in a tube rather than on your hand. He will happily take from your hand and loves the odd fresh veggie or nut. Prius enjoys a good run on his wheel but will stop if he sees you to see if you have anything tasty to eat. He will rearrange his enclosure to make sure it’s exactly how he wants and currently likes to fill his sand bath up with bedding. He tends to be awake reasonably early in the evening and he’s quite a curious little boy and likes to know what you’re doing.
