Merry and Lark came into rescue from a school, where they’d been kept in a small cage with no enrichment or hay. Despite this, they are such a sweet, friendly pair!
Merry (with the white ears) is in charge and loves to get her space just how she wants it – moving blankets and toys out of the way if you’ve put them in the wrong place! Lark is the more laid back of the two and loves following his best friend around.
They’re both very inquisitive and extremely food-focussed! The best parts of their day are food times and although they love their pellets and hay, they’ve learned that after pellets are scattered, out comes the forage tub! They love to stick their noses in and choose their favourite snack – usually a piece of dandelion root each, which they run off with to enjoy in peace!
