Rats are social creatures who will need a suitable enclosure with company of his own kind.

Apply to adopt Horatio

All rats and mice in our care receive Leptospirosis treatment and a comprehensive veterinary check. They’re then assessed by our specialist rat-and-mouse foster carers so every animal is as carefully matched to its new family as families are to their new pet!

Adoption information

For you:

Rat and mouse adoption fee made payable to the rescue

£25 per animal

Adoption contract

You will need to sign our adoption contract

For rats and mice, we will provide:

  • Health check
  • Lepto treatment
Bonding service

The rescue runs a bonding service which is mandatory to ensure that the adopted animals will be bonded into a group or existing animal, to mitigate any chance of an animal living alone.
