We had a call from a vet practice local to HQ asking if we could urgently take on a heavily pregnant rabbit who had been dumped. A local woman had witnessed her neighbour throwing a domestic rabbit over a wall and into a graveyard – and took action. Thank goodness for this lady, who caught Georgette and brought her to the vet, because had she been left it is most likely Gigi and her kittens would all be dead.
Georgette is settled into HQ, understandably very nervous, and is starting to build her nest up ready for her impending litter. Georgette will be available in the future once she is spayed and separated from her babies
