About Camry

Camry, came into the rescue at 8 weeks old with his brothers. The first week was a bit stressful for them as they explored their new larger setups (something they never had before) and were separated from his brothers due to hormonal squabbles.

Camry is the quieter of his brothers. He takes time to trust anyone new. He may hide away until comfortable in his surroundings. He dislikes any quick movements especially in free roam time. He will take treats from you once he trusts you, but he needs a patient person that will let him sniff and explore before he’s confident with you. He loves tunnels, meal worms and his whimzees.

Hamsters are one of the most misunderstood creatures in the ‘pet world’. The amount of hamsters of all breeds who come into the rescue with inadequate care is staggering – and it often takes them several months to grow confident with their foster carers.

Hamster adoption fee made payable to the rescue

£20 per hamster

Adoption contract

You will need to sign our adoption contract

For hamsters, we will provide a full history.

Bonding service

The rescue runs a bonding service which is mandatory to ensure that the adopted animals will be bonded into a group or existing animal, to mitigate any chance of an animal living alone.
