AdoptionS
Adopting a rabbit!
Adopting a rabbit or rabbits is an amazing way to grow your family – bunnies are complex but utterly rewarding creatures, and by adopting you are helping a growing rescue crisis nation and world-wide. The below application form will help us to understand your home setup and life, and what you are looking for in adoption! It is important to include as much information – as well as supporting images – in your application as possible.
Each rabbit adopted comes with an adoption fee of £80.00 (£160.00 for a pair, £200 for a trio) made payable into the rescue. You will be provided with a history for your chosen rabbit/s and vaccination cards/evidence. All rabbits will be neutered, vaccinated and health checked prior to adoption. You will also be required to sign an adoption contract.
The rescue runs a bonding service which is mandatory to ensure that the adopted rabbit will be bonded into a group or existing rabbit, to mitigate any chance of a rabbit living alone. To discuss this please message or email the rescue directly.
Adopting a hamster!
Hamsters are one of the most misunderstood creatures in the ‘pet world’. The amount of hamsters of all breeds who come into the rescue with inadequate care is staggering – and it often takes them several months to grow confident with their foster carers. The application form for hamsters helps us capture what your setup looks like if you have one already, or can help us help you create the perfect home for your future hamster. Please include as much information as possible in your application as well as images.
Each hamster adopted comes with an adoption fee of £20.00 made payable into the rescue. You will be provided with a background and behaviour profile for your chosen hamster. You will also be required to sign an adoption contract.
Adopting a Guineapig
What isn’t to love about piggies! Here at The Bunnyjackpot Foundation we have a real soft spot for little wheekers, and are very passionate about providing them with the best life chances: companionship, diet and the correct enclosure. All piggies under our care are health checked prior to adoption and female piggies are spayed.
Each Guineapig adopted comes with an adoption fee of £30.00 (£50.00 for a pair) made payable into the rescue. You will be provided with a veterinary history for your adoptive piggie. You will also be required to sign an adoption contract.
