Chia is a 5 month old Russian dwarf hamster.
Chia’s very fast and he’s not very used to being handled but he’s curious lad and is up and about during the day. With the right home and patience, he will likely grow into a sociable and confident dwarf. He will need a home to feel settled and secure first. He loves to burrow and bulldozed his lodgings on his first night with us. He also loves his wheel. All good signs of a healthy, young and energetic hamster keen to live the good life.
Hamsters are one of the most misunderstood creatures in the ‘pet world’. The amount of hamsters of all breeds who come into the rescue with inadequate care is staggering – and it often takes them several months to grow confident with their foster carers.

The rescue runs a bonding service which is mandatory for rabbits to ensure that the adopted rabbit(s) will be bonded into a group or with your existing rabbit, to mitigate any chance of an animal living alone. Prices for this can be found on our bonding page.
After entering your information, you will be taken to the adoption form which may take at least 30 minutes to complete.
